Dermal fillers are safe, non-surgical cosmetic treatments designed to restore volume and smooth fine lines. Dermal fillers are made from Hyaluronic Acid, which is a naturally occurring substance in the body. Hyaluronic Acid is responsible for keeping our skin hydrated, and plump. As we age, our body’s natural Hyaluronic Acid and Elastin production decreases, which then leads to volume loss, increased skin laxity, and dry, dehydrated skin. Fillers can restore this volume loss, but also plump lips. The results are immediate, natural-looking, and can last from several months to over a year. Dermal fillers are widely studied and safe to use, with Hyaluronic Acid fillers being utilised in the industry for over 20 years.
